When we were contacted by Becky at Gardenia Floral Design to collaborate on a styled shoot, we were all in before she could finish her sentence. Once we had our inspiration image, it was a breeze and so much fun to pull it all together. We were able to work with all of the right vendors to complete the vision, and we are completely ecstatic to have it featured on The Bridal Theory blog at the first sign on spring. Worthy mention, Ashford Manor was the perfect venue and backdrop....Enjoy!

Lindsay Cox, of Letters + Light Co has a beautifully light and fresh aesthetic, and we were obsessed with the stationary she created for us. Her eyes were also the ones behind the lens, and we thank her tremendously for lending us her talents for a day.

We can't say enough kind words about Francis at Dover Grace Alternative Boutique. She was so hands-on in helping us decide on the correct gown. From the moment we walked in to her shop on Main Street, it was like someone opening up their closet to you and saying, "Have fun playing dress up! I'm here to make it fit you perfectly!". This gem of a dress was even better than what we had imagined, with the soft neutral chiffon and pleated peplum top. Our dear model Starr Crofton wore it well, right?!

We also want to note how easy and fun Jennifer from Flawless Finish was to work with! We were all able to chat about punctuality and how having the right wedding team of vendors is the key to a successful day! She is on point!

Seeing as Elizabeth and I are mildly obsessed with florals, it's often hard to feel like one with another florist and trust them completely.  Gardenia was so great, taking the reigns in deciding which blooms to include in the arrangements. She was even our most favorite person when she showed up with that striking king protea (upon special request :) in the perfect stage of bloom, as well as a hoard of olive branch to create the settee garland. Perfection.

When you need the perfect shade macaroon to suite your event, call Ashley at Classic City Confections. Not only has she always been the sweetest individual, she is the queen of 'Yes', and she will undoubtedly make something that is often too pretty to even eat! But you should. These macaroons were a soft pink lavender, and they are the bomb, y'all. I kind of didn't want to share with the husband that evening, but everyone should know about these!

The half round table and silver grey linen, as well as the glassware, came from the amazing team at Barron's Rental Center. They house their own linens, which is a lifesaver for those that host their own parties, large scale weddings, and generally great to walk through and see their collection.

If the calligraphy looks familiar, this is another piece of beauty from Letters + Light!

Lovers of all things local, we reached out to our catering friends at Mama's Boy and Goodie Two Shoes to help us out with the mismatched vintage china. Great food, amazing staff, and we love to work together for a flawless and tasty reception or rehearsal dinner!

The vintage brass candlesticks are a part of Whitewood's inventory, which is ever growing!

Who doesn't love a dainty floral head piece? Thanks to Becky at Gardenia for creating this, and thanks to Jennifer at Flawless Finish for the flawless hair on Starr!
