Modern Farm Romance

Wedding Inspiration featured on Wedding Sparrow

Bringing to life a vision for a creative project is the most fun, you guys! Curating all of the details, to suit this Photography Workshop, hosted by Noi Tran, was every bit what you think of when you see or hear 'collaboration', and we enjoyed it to the fullest. Thank you Angelina, for trusting me with completing your vision. We can't wait to see and share your finished product, but until then, here are some of our first picks from Noi Tran. Cheers to Friday!

From Wedding Sparrow: For our Friday finale of the week, we're loving today's elegant and timeless indoor wedding inspiration, courtesy of photographer Noi Tran. Every element, designed by Whitney Downs, feels a bit Old World with a hint of European in style with the dusty neutrals and natural elements. One of the design specifics that we really loved has to be the chic black candelabras as they added the perfect amount of height to the tablescape to complement the stunning arrangement by European Floral Design....

The backdrop for this project was the stunningly modern grey and white barn, Grant Hill Farms. It's exterior boasts large covered porches, which is an essential southern necessity, but the interior will take your breath away. Completely outfitted with white shiplap walls, gorgeous wooden beams, and simple yet modern fixtures, we wish we could spend all day there!

Hair and Make up by the talented Brielle Brenner Make Up and Hair. Brielle was super easy to work with, and she really blew me away with the impeccable work she did with Jessie. We can't wait to work with her again!

If you haven't noticed, we have an ALL LOVE relationship with lovely paper and calligraphy pieces. Rachel Anne nailed every aspect with her custom invitation suite, written vows, and name cards for the reception table. It just oozed romance and elegance without being overly traditional - keeping with the clean and neutral aesthetic of our shoot.

We adore working with the team over at The Black Tux. They are truly a dream when it comes to curating the perfect look for any special occasion. We have a VIP relationship with them and can set you up with a personal concierge to work with the groom and his groomsmen to ensure a fun fitting process and always a perfect end product. Yes, they even help with making sure they guys are on track with their ordering ;) Doesn't Nick look so dapper here?!

This gown is one of my most favorite gowns from all of our creative projects. My Wony has a stunning collection, and this one looks as if it were made especially for our sweet and beautiful Jessie. Be sure to click the link in the vendor list at the bottom to see more of their stunning gowns.

A dramatic ceremony altar doesn't have to overdone. Brett with European Floralseems to have a way of getting into our heads and executing exactly what we envision, and we adore and admire her for that. We wouldn't mind saying 'I Do' in front of this stone fireplace with this perfectly foraged and asymmetrical mantel arrangement. What do you think?

If you aren't familiar with one of Athens' most famous pottery studios, you shouldn't acquaint yourself! R. Wood Studio offers full setting collections, as well as custom pieces. These are our most favorite, and you can even find them in the Five & Ten Restaurant here in Athens as well. Yeah, we love to support local whenever the opportunity arises!

Ashley with Classic City Confections is notorious for her cakes. Pretty + tasteful, she never disappoints when I come to her with a new idea. She's always eager to jump in with both feet and collaborate. To say she is a favorite, is an understatement. We love the subtle details of the white on white botanical touches to the base layer here. Just add some simple greenery, and that's all you need.

From Noi Tran: "One of the most daunting thoughts a lot of budding photographers deal with is building their portfolio to reflect who they are as an artist. I’m totally for shooting anything and everything to know your niche but what I’ve learned over time is that when you’re shooting, is to have a clear purpose. It takes several years maybe more, in my opinion, to develop a style or at least a shooting style that you’re happy with. Style always evolves but your shooting style is what stays consistent.

In my One on One Mentorship Program, my hope is to share my journey and offer as much encouragement as possible to help those needing direction and a little boost to take that step in getting closer to their goal—whatever that may be. Working with Angelina was pure delight! Her eager heart was like a sponge taking in every bit of information I shared and putting things into action. While guiding her in planning her own styled shoot, I watched her bloom in a unique way as she put the pieces together for her vision. Her words for the vision were: Fresh, Kindness, Love and Life. My absolute favorite part about the planning process was getting to see all the lovely details Whitney of Whitewood Events put together. I knew pulling in Whitney was the only way to go. Having a well thought-out planner, one who can take your vision and walk right alongside you is super important.

The design and planning process certainly could not have happened without Whitewood Events!"
