The most important aspect to entertaining isn't all about how pretty you've decorated, but it's about making your guests happy and comfortable and making sure they feel welcome. As it gets colder and colder, what better way than with a warm drink and donuts? No really, there are few things that can't be cured with a Turkey Trot Toddy paired with cinnamon sugar donuts. Am I right?!
3 ounces orange juice (freshly squeezed)
2 ounces Bulleit Bourbon
2 ounces boiling water
1 pinch ground cinnamon
Honey to taste
Orange slices or twist for zest
Step 1: Boil Water
Step 2: Pour boiling water to mug
Step 3: Add 3 oz Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice, 3 oz of Bourbon, and Honey to taste
Step 4: Sprinkle a pinch of Ground Cinnamon
Step 5: Garnish with Orange Slice and Cinnamon Stick
Let stand for 5 minutes to let flavors mingle, sip, and enjoy!
We were just over the moon to share one of our favorite fall cocktail recipes with Kim, Christy, and our friends at Pottery Barn -
When temperature dips and there is a nip in the air, there is something to be said for greeting your holiday guests with a mug of something warm. The team at Whitewood Events created this tasty and cozy cocktail for Thanksgiving or any autumn gathering – the Turkey Trot Toddy. Aside from being delicious, we love that it’s so easy to make and can be made in batches for a large gathering.
Pair the Turkey Trot Toddy with fresh donuts on a tiered stand and it’s the perfect mid-day or evening snack while gathering with friends and family. Cheers!
