Rosalina and Doug hold a special place in my heart. I went to school with Rosalina and even had the pleasure of planning and designing her best friend, and 'Best Lady' Wenjie's wedding last year. While we only did Partial Planning for Rosie and Doug, it was still a fun experience, and we love how everything came together. Their day was definitely fun and full of love and laughter!
Nestled along the river, Ivy Hall in Roswell, Georgia was their venue location. With the leaves changing, and nature putting on a show of color, their backdrop was quintessential 'Fall vibes'. Both bride and groom wished for an organic feel to everything from the florals to the reception décor. Also, since Doug is a chef, we worked with Ginger Rose Florals to include fun aspects to their bouquet to tie in the natural herbs and greens that you might find in the culinary world as well. Last we checked, the rosemary that was tucked in with Rosalina's bouquet is still thriving in their home, and I believe that scent will always remind her of this special day.
Thanks to Carrie Joy Photography for not only capturing everything in the most perfect way, but also for being such a blast to work with. Everything ran on time, and she shot everything with a gentle spirit and kind smile behind the lens. Here are just a few highlights from this very special fall day.
We just love a sweet First Look, and Doug's face shows just how blown away he was when Rosalina walked up. She truly was stunning, and she was absolutely glowing as well!
Our beautiful and gracious bridal party was decked out in possibly our favorite Show Me Your Mumu floral gowns. Paired with simple green variety bouquets, it was just the pop of color we needed on this cloudy day. Now, can someone let me wear a floral patterned dress in their wedding? Although, no one could have knocked it out of the park as well as these ladies!
We were told that it is tradition for Mr. Hunter to lay the last song, but we were all busting a move when he and the band jammed out to close the night.
